Book Launch for James Landis!
Start: 7:00 pm
End: 8:00 pm
The Last Day is a novel about the last day of U.S. Army Sniper Warren Harlan Pease, which he spends traveling around the New Hampshire seacoast with Jesus. Not your typical religious allegory, The Last Day is a challenging look at the U.S. war in Iraq, traditional religion, and how we live here on earth each day. A poignant testament to the true cost of war. Landis, a resident of Exeter, is a former editor-in-chief at William Morrow & Company and the author of several novels, including Longing and Lying in Bed, and a book of children's poetry, Cars on Mars. This event is free and open to the public. Call (603) 778-9731 with any questions. Please join us to celebrate the launch of this book!

Why Shop Indie?

For every $100 you spend at a local indie business, $68 will stay in the community. When you spend that same $100 at a national chain, only $43 stays in your community.

Local businesses carry a wider array of unique products because they buy for their own market: the people in their community. They know you and know what you like and want.

You wouldn’t want your house to look like everyone else’s in the U.S. Why would you want your community to look that way? More diversity in your community enhances its appeal.

Even more reasons to shop indie...
