Matt Tavares is author and illustrator of many children's books about baseball, including Zachary's Ball, Oliver's Game, Mudball and the illustrator of books such as The Gingerbread Pirates, Iron Hans, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Lady Liberty: A Biography. He lives in Arlington, Massachusetts.
Henry Aaron's Dream is the story of of a kid from the segregated south who would become baseball's home-run king.
